Cox Automotive alum Jason Barrie has joined advertising firm Digital Air Strike as SVP of product strategy and market development.
Barrie spent 14 years at Dealertrack Technologies Inc., which was acquired by Cox Automotive in 2015 for $4 billion. He has held leadership positions such as vice president for market performance, VinSolutions (another Cox subsidiary) and Dealertrack F&I, as well as vice president and general manager of Dealertrack Dealer F&I.
Most recently, Barrie served just under two years as CEO and general manager at Carmatic, an upstart digital retailing vendor serving car dealerships.
Barrie and Digital Air Strike’s co-founder and CEO, Alexi Venneri, were colleagues at Dealertrack.

Digital Air Strike says it helps more than 5,000 automotive companies increase consumer response and conversions through digital and social media environments. It provides technology for consumer engagement over social media and tools to improve sales lead response.
Barrie graduated from Miami University and lives in the New York area. He will divide his time between New York and Digital Air Strike’s headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
